Couple Love Calculator (“the extension,” “we,” “us”) is a browser extension published by Couple Love Calculator, the same publisher behind couple-love-calculator.com. This policy explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with your information. We’ve kept it short because there genuinely isn’t much to disclose, the extension was built from the ground up to need as little as possible from you.

The extension does not collect, store on any server, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It requests zero browser permissions. Everything it does happens locally, inside the popup, on your own device.
Information we collect
We do not collect any information. The extension does not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or any third-party SDKs. It cannot read your browsing history, open tabs, bookmarks, or the content of any web page, because it does not request any of the browser permissions that would allow that.
The two names you type in
When you type two names into the popup and press Calculate, that text is used only to run a local calculation, entirely within your browser, to produce a compatibility score. Those names are never sent to us, to couple-love-calculator.com, or to any third party.
Local storage
To save you retyping, the extension saves the two most recently entered names using your browser’s built-in local storage feature. This storage:
- Stays entirely on your device
- Is never transmitted over the network to us or anyone else
- Is not accessible to any website you visit
- Is automatically deleted if you uninstall the extension
Links to our website
The popup includes an optional link to couple-love-calculator.com. If you click it, you’ll leave the extension and load our website in a new tab, which is subject to couple-love-calculator.com’s own privacy practices rather than this policy. The extension itself does not track whether or when you click that link.
Children’s privacy
The extension does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all. It is not directed specifically at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example, if a future version of the extension adds a feature that involves data leaving your device, we will update this page and revise the effective date above before that version is published.
